what's it like to have your life flash before your eyes? what if, near the end of my life, i discover that i spent most days with my eyes closed? i read about a blind turkish man who paints bright & vivid pictures in 3point perspective. he was born without eyes, yet he sees something i cannot see. there is so much beauty & sadness in the world, i can hardly bear it.
